I have been in the business of “energy healing” for 8 years now. I’ve worked with a lot of people and I’ve seen a lot of things. I have had my own magical experiences with the practice and have seen quite a few people make some huge life changes after coming in for a reiki session.
The idea of healing or clearing is not a new concept. It’s dated back further than anything that has been recorded. Healing is a common theme that shows up in many religions, the idea that if you follow a certain set of ideals you have the ability to transcend yourself and move to a higher point of existence is generally why people follow religious ideals in the first place. Reiki as a practice was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Buddish Monk who was passionate about what healing could be. Not something that was a concept, but the idea that if one is willing to, they would have the ability to tap in and channel source energy in a way to help another person clear whatever they need to. We’re talking real life healing. Full on transformation.
Reiki, the practice of it, allows a person to channel source energy. That means that said person can tap into the universe, God, or whatever you wish to call it and transfer said energy through their own body into something or someone else that wishes to receive it. This energy works on clearing your own energy centres, also knows as the Chakras, which are powerfully linked into your physical, emotional and mental bodies. When those centres are out of balance, they can create havoc in your emotional state, cause you to feel stressed, lethargic and fearful. If they are left unchecked they can even manifest physical illness in your body.
Reiki works as a tool to help clear up any of those energy centres. It can break down emotional conditioning. It can help you clean up the lies and stories that have been fed to you by people in your life operating from a place of fear. It can help you release old negativity and even works on clearing some trauma. The energy is very powerful in that way. Truthfully I’ve even seen it work on people’s physical pain for a time.
It works in this way because it helps you to see what you’re holding on to emotionally that may be holding you back from being your best self. It certainly doesn’t take the place of therapy, medical care or medication. What it does do is work with those things to help you tap back into your truest self. To find your joy and peace again.
So why should you care? Well, truthfully you don’t have to. The practice of Reiki is not for everyone and it’s not meant to be. If you are struggling with illness, negativity that won’t seem to lift, blocks you can’t seem to shake or are just feeling a bit out of whack with all the craziness that is 2020, it is worth looking in to. Reiki is meant to bring your truth to light from a place of compassion, so you can live your life fully and wholly. No holds bared. It’s absolutely changed my life and enhanced my transformation in many ways. Don’t take my word for it. If you have an opportunity to try it, I say give it hell. You likely will be glad you did.
