It’s a meditate with a big chunk of amethyst kind of day.

Amethyst is pretty well know for its healing properties and the woo woo community’s love for it. This crystal is all about third eye and crown energies, it enhances your psychic vision, calms your mind and taps you into the practice of trust. It’s good for meditating with because it takes you to the next level spiritually.

I love crystals and their energy is meant to enhance your own. Not “cure” anything. They compliment whatever energy they are brought into. So if you’re a hit mess this crystal isn’t going to fix you.

Consider these beauties an aid in your healing, enhancers if you will. But having crystals doesn’t mean you don’t have to do the inner work. It just means you have a clearer gateway to it. 🌚.

Checked my insta this morning and some random dude

Checked my insta this morning and some random dude posted a nasty comment on one of my photos. I deleted it because it was hate speech and doesn’t belong in this space. I blocked him because he doesn’t deserve another second of my energy.

Here’s the thing. The work I do and you do as a being of light is going to piss people off. That’s the point. Healing isn’t about love and light all the time. This shit is uncomfortable, intense and down right hard. Not everyone is going to agree with you. You’re going to trigger people. It’s a fact of this work.

If I’m going to let every fucko stop me from sharing I may as well pack it up now.

My reaction this morning was this: huh. Fascinating. I laughed and moved on.

My point, stop worrying about being nice. Say how you feel. Be compassionate of course but there’s no need to hold back. Let the shit flow. It feels pretty good when you do.

This one. This. This this this. I’ve been having this conversation with a lot of clients this week and I’ve been in this myself. Feeling. Feeling the emotions in my body. Fear. Sadness. Anger. Frustration. Joy. Peace. Love. Feeling. It’s interesting because I thought I had a lock on feeling, there were times I literally cried every day. I just let it flow. And it was good.

There have also been many times that I’ve avoided my emotion. I feel uncomfortable so I check my phone. I’ve attempted to discharge it by talking about it with multiple people. I’ve tried to distract myself with tv. With food. I’ve tried to “focus on the good”. The funny thing is, I didn’t even recognize that I was simply avoiding actually feeling whatever was coming forward for me. I created all these ways to come out of it. Why? Because I was and am afraid it would break me somehow. That it would stop my flow. It would affect my abundance. My attraction.

I think I’ve heard about a million times the words: you have to feel it to heal it. Well, fuck. It’s true.

You can’t gratitude away anxiety. You can talk your way out of fear. You can’t use pizza to push down your shit forever. These only work as band aids and if your wounds are gushing out, well the band aid will only go so far.

Give yourself the grace to feel the stuff. If something rises in you it’s ok. Feel it. You don’t have to turn it off just because your parents told you it’s not ok to cry. Or your teachers said that you need to check your emotions. You are not more valuable if you are more “professional and contained”.

You are valuable now.

So get messy. Feel the fear. Feel the joy. Cry in front of someone. Give yourself a moment before you pick up your phone to distract yourself. Before you smoke that joint or take that sip of wine, let yourself feel how you feel. These little moments are the gateways to our healing.

And now I’m going to take my own advice. 😘.
